The design process for any new project will begin with a thorough consultation with the customer to ensure an accurate project scope is determined.
During the design process, CANAMIX produces all its manufacturing drawings in 3D to eliminate potential errors. Where large, or unusual, components are being designed, FEA (Finite Element Analysis) is conducted. The analysis combines all the operating loads of the system, allowing the designer to address potential weaknesses before manufacture. Where important components carry critical loading, detailed F.E.A analysis is required.
CANAMIX in-house mechanical design program ensures a safe, robust & reliable mechanical agitator. Both normal and abnormal loads (ie. with high gas rate or low level operation) are taken into account when calculating critical speed, loads and forces, blade and hub thickness and shaft construction.
The CANAMIX design program also calculates component weights and integrates with Canamix’s process design program to ensure that our customers receive products that are reliable both from a mechanical and process design perspective.
